Actually, I think you're pretty good. But just put a bit more time into it and it could turn out better. They just don't like it when anybody spends less than 30 minutes on a piece. =P I've had art rejected several times, so I usually check with the mods before posting a piece or starting a thread.

Anyway, I think you should stick with the Art Forum.

Dude, don't feel too bad, most people just think your stuff is too juvenile and steers too far away from set-ups in storys (candy monsters *wink wink*).

But seriously its not that big a deal, you should just consider the situation more carefully before you decide what your going to make, for instance the whole problem with your godzilla post was that he had defeated the giant candy mech without the viewers seeing it happen, so its kinda like stealing a sequence.

Also this whole "it turned out to be friendly" jazz just hasn't been used at the correct moments, you've used it twice and it steers too far away from the current atmosphere, sure it probably would have been fine if you'd used it after godzilla had won the fight, but like I said before it steered too far away from a mech-godzilla fight when the viewers and artists were expecting more fight shots and a conclusion to the fight.

So what I'm saying is be more considerate on the current affairs of a story, your artwork is fine you just need to think before you act.

I think if you'd focus more on actually improving you art and less on stuff like story threads, you'd get a lot more respect from a lot of people (me included). I'm not saying I hate you or anything like that. I think you'd actually be a great artist if you put more effort into your work.

That actually goes out to a lot of current forum regs.
